Paul E. Dembow brings over three decades of personal and professional experience in the personal care and cosmetics manufacturing industry. Paul has expertise as CEO overseeing Product and Packaging development, compounding, filling, production, pack-out and logistics. At age eleven, Paul’s unmatched work ethic was instilled early in his life as he dug mud from springs for his father’s fledgling cosmetic business with “Down-to-Earth Mineral Mud Mask.” Paul worked various jobs as kid, during school, but always at the family business during the summers. After graduation from ASU, Paul started selling for the company when it employed eight people. Under Paul’s stewardship, Arizona Natural Resources grew to four hundred employees four years later. He helped the company change from a product marketing company to a contract manufacturer producing and manufacturing thousands of cosmetic, personal care and health care products. Paul developed relationships and built the business with Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, NuSkin, Obagi, Bumble & Bumble, DryBar, Dollar Shave Club, Coty, Oribe, department stores and a variety of other entrepreneurs and businesses. After 33 years Paul sold the business to pursue other interests.
Paul heads a consulting firm that specializes in all aspects of Brand management from Supply Chain, sales and regulatory, called Brand Enhancement, Strategy and Protection, LLC. He has invested in some companies that sell consumables and is currently an investor and consults with Quantum Wellness, Botanical Institute, LLC., a nutritional supplement company, Tyme Hair, and Oats Over Night a cereal company.
Paul had an epiphany when he was six years old after he negotiated “too good” of a deal with his nine year-old neighbor that the boys’ parents forced them to rescind. Paul understood then that all deals had to be a win-win to maintain a long-term relationship. Paul knew then that his gift was to connect people with the products or services they needed while always ensuring the deal was fair, because bad deals don’t work. Like everything else in his life, Paul has pursued that vision with singular focus.
Paul now serves as Councilman of Paradise, Valley, Arizona and just finished serving a term on the Global Board of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Paul’s focus as Councilman has sharpened his contract analysis and planning capabilities, as he negotiates and implements high-dollar projects. Paul’s exceptional ability to read and manage people is an intangible value he brings to his varied roles as he is quick to diffuse conflicts and misunderstandings at their inception.
Paul is an avid hiker, watch collector and world traveler Actively involved in the lives of his five adult children, Paul is driven, has high energy, can disagree without being disagreeable; he plays well with others and is a leader in every possible way.
